“I don’t get the purpose of all the nudity on the show by you particularly. I feel like I’m walking into a trap where you go, ‘Nobody complains about the nudity on ‘Game of Thrones,’ but I get why they’re doing it. They are doing it to be salacious and, you know, to titillate people. And your character is often naked just at random times for no reason.”
This critic is a moron of epic proportions. You feel like you’re walking into a trap because you most certainly are asking a very stupid question. Its fucking HBO. The only channels on television with more nudity are Skinemax or channels where you literally buy porn. That’s it. And you’re going to ask why there’s nudity on the show. On ‘Game of Thrones’ its titillating, but apparently you’re only allowed to be naked on the TV if you’re gonna do some sex scenes. Normal characters aren’t allowed to be naked because there’s no purpose to nudity. Got it.
Pretty much just the dumbest question I’ve ever heard. Buddy, none of us find Lena Dunham attractive, ok? You’re not some fucking genius just sitting there being like “She’s naked on the show all the time but she’s not hot. What’s up with that am I right?” The point of nudity isn’t just to be sexy and fuck. You ever been to a nude beach? I haven’t. You know why, because everyone is allowed to go to a nude beach and 90% of people I don’t wanna see naked. Doesn’t mean they can’t get naked. It certainly doesn’t mean there’s no reason for them to be naked.
Clothes suck. Everyone knows it. You ever wear a pair of jeans that’s a little bit tighter than you remembered but you think its just cause you washed them recently and haven’t broken them in yet? Then you wear them all day only to find out they’re just fucking tight, probably cause you put on some weight from hitting the gym so hard or something. All day you’re just like “if I could be naked right now I 100% would be” (This may or may not have happened to me yesterday so I’m pretty passionate about it).
Lena Dunham’s response was pretty spot on: “It’s a realistic expression of what it’s like to be alive, I think…” Nudity is part of being alive. Now I haven’t seen the show, but it has great reviews and I have yet to watch anything and come out saying, “Just too much random nudity in that. Didn’t get what they were doing at all showing all that skin.”
This critic has to have a small dick, right? Only reason you ask that question, is cause you don’t like being naked because you realize just how small your wang is. The show is probably just too real for that guy.
