Liking on Facebook is a First Amendment Right

Liking on Facebook is a First Amendment Right

Whew! That was a close one. If liking something on facebook isn’t freedom of speech I don’t want to live here anymore. “…Liking a political Facebook page is an important means of political expression that deserves First Amendment expression,”. Yes because everyone knows they count Facebook likes for candidates in elections. If liking a political page is an important means of political expression for you, you’re probably just a lazy fuck because it actually means nothing. “I did my job today!” “You voted? You were active in a political campaign?” “Nope! I liked Obama’s Facebook page! Suck on that Republicans!”

The way this court case came about is weird as shit. Some dude gets fired, possibly for liking his boss’s opponent’s campaign page. Buddy, maybe we don’t go liking our boss’s opponents when we’re friends on Facebook with our boss or have a public profile. How did you think that was gonna go down? His boss should have fired him on the grounds of incompetence and being a fucking moron. I’m sure if your boss hadn’t fired you, your career was really going places.
